TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICES

Definitions


The Client: The recipient of the service and name listed on the booking form
Supplier: Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup Artist
The Agreement: The contract that exists between the client and Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup Artist for the agreed fee
The Fee: The amount payable by the client to the supplier for the agreed services
The Event: The occasion and venue where the service(s) will be provided by the supplier 
The Party: Additional members of the bridal party

Team: Ieva Ganovesi and the team of qualified and fully insured Hair and Makeup

Studio: Cambridge based studio with available parking (more information by email)


Securing your booking & Payment

 

  • The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable deposit to Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup Artist.

  • Payments can be made by cash or via bank transfer.

  • The non refundable deposit is £100 paid by the client and taken off the final fee.

  • The final fee is to be paid in full by the client not later than 2 weeks (14days) before the event

  • Failure to pay the fee within the stated time may result in the event being cancelled by Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup Artist.

  • Between the months of May to September there is a minimum person booking of 3. A surcharge will be payable if part of the booking is cancelled during this time of the year.

  • Events on Friday, Saturday or Sunday are subject to a £500 on the day minimum spend, excluding travel costs.

  • An invoice for the balance of the Fee and schedule for the wedding day will be sent from the Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup artist to the Client after the trial unless the Event is in less than 2 weeks’ time in which case it will be sent immediately after the booking has been secured.

Discounted rates

  • 10% discount will be offered for weddings that takes place on the months of November, January and February on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

  • 15% discount applies for mid week weddings on the months of November, January and February.

 

Bridal trials
 

  • Trials take place in my home based Studio in Cambridge Tuesdays to Fridays only.

  • Payment for any trial shall be made in advance by bank transfer or alternatively by cash on the day of the trial. The payment is non refundable after the service has been provided.

  • If no more then 24h after the trial client decides not to continue with the booking, £100 deposit will be refunded.

  • The client can cancel or reschedule a trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged for at the agreed rate.

Responsibility of the Client

 

  • The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions.

  • If the client or party requires a patch test for any products, this can be arranged before the event.

  • The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition.

  • The hair and makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behavior and/or if the Client reports a condition that the Company and/or Team member deem as a risk to the Client’s health and well-being. In these cases any payments that have already been made by the Client for the service are non-refundable.

Responsibility of the Supplier

  • The Supplier will always endeavor to honor the Agreement to the best of its ability.

  • There may be circumstances beyond the control of the Company where a Team member is unwell, delayed or otherwise unavailable, sometimes at short notice. In such a case the Company will inform the Client at its earliest convenience and endeavor to make favorable alternative arrangements if possible.

  • The Supplier reserves the right to offer the Client re in the event that it is not able to honor the Agreement. This is entirely dependent on the circumstances and will be discussed openly and honestly with the Client.

Cancellations

Covid-19 Update: Our Cancellation Policy during these uncertain times remains unchanged. We will not be able to refund beyond what is outlined below.

 

  • At any point the client can cancel the event by informing the Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup Artist 

  • Cancellations are only valid if received via email ievagenovesi@gmail.com

  • The Supplier will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however the client will not be liable for any further payments.

  • Notice of cancellation of any part or whole of a booking must be given to Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup Artist at least 4weeks prior to the date of the booking. If less than 4weeks notice is given, any outstanding balance payable in relation to that wedding booking shall be required to be made in full.

  • In the unfortunate event of cancelation of your booking, the following charges will apply (percentages are the proportion of the total booking cost):

        – 12 weeks before the wedding 30%
        – 8 weeks before the wedding 40%
        – 6 weeks before the wedding 50%
        – 4 weeks before the wedding 100%

  • Cancellations made 3 months or more prior of the reserved date will not incur cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations by the Client for a non-wedding service that are received less than 2 weeks before the start of the service incur the full cost of the booking. Cancellations received before this time will be refunded in full within 7 days of the cancellation.

  • Payments made to the Supplier for a service that is subsequently cancelled by the Supplier will be refunded in full within 7 days of the cancellation. 

  • Cancellations by the Supplier due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given will result in a refund to the Client. No further compensation will be offered.

  • Cancellations for services booked where travel and/or accommodation expenses have been paid for by the Supplier and are non-refundable by the travel/accommodation provider(s) will incur full reimbursement from the Client to the Supplier for the travel and/or accommodation costs paid.

  • If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the supplier every possible endeavor to rectify such situations will be made, however no compensation will be offered on the Supplier's part. The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations.

Exclusivity

 

  • Exclusivity is not guaranteed for the whole day of the event, therefore timings will be seriously considered when agreeing to any booking.

  • It is unlikely that there will be another event on the day; and any second event undertaken by the supplier will not affect the first event

  • An exclusivity fee can be arranged if preferred.


Travel & Parking

 

  • First 10 miles from Cambridge are free of charge, £0.50 per mile charge thereafter will incur per artist. Once the location is confirmed you will be informed if any travel charges will apply.

  • Congestion and parking charges shall be covered by the client.

  • Please inform Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup Artist in advance if there is limited parking available at the event location. Due to the amount of heavy equipment required, should Supplier has not been made aware, she can not be held responsible for delays this might cause.

  • For destination weddings airport transfers both in the UK and abroad, flights and accommodation with breakfast should all be provided.

Change of Location 

  • Alternative accommodation booking is recommended to start the preparations if your venue has a later morning time for you to enter the bridal suite. 

  • During the wedding morning if we are required to pack up, drive to another location and set up again there is an additional £30 charge per artist to cover additional time and travel

Photography and Video

  • The Client agrees that Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup artist may use any photography and/or video for publicity purposes which includes the artist's website and social media pages.

  • The supplier will not post photography before the event has started to avoid spoiling any surprises.

  • Any concerns or objections regarding photography should be made in writing to ievagenovesi@gmail.com

Changes to Services and Prices

  • Prices for products and services are subject to change without notice. The Supplier reserves the right to modify or discontinue a service (or any part or content thereof) at any time without notice, but not unless already agreed in writing with the Client.
